Our History

Since its inception in 2008 in Istanbul, GDF has brought together government officials, business leaders, charities, and social investors from across the world, fostering collaborations that transcend borders, faiths, and industries.

Through these initiatives, GDF has mobilised over $200 million in philanthropic commitments, facilitated partnerships across 45+ countries, hosted forum across 10 countries, and established itself as the leading forum for Muslim philanthropy worldwide.
